With Section 8, your rent is generally set at 30% of your adjusted gross income. Once approved, Section 8 will notify us of the amount they will contribute toward your rent. After approval, you will only be responsible for your designated portion of the rent as specified by the Housing Authority.
If your water, gas, or other essential utilities are shut off, please notify us. You may qualify for assistance programs to help with utility payments, and many utility companies offer flexible payment plans. Contact your utility provider to learn about available options.
If you anticipate difficulty in making a rent payment, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss available payment options. Some local nonprofits also offer emergency rental assistance.
